You might have noticed that yesterday three articles arrived instead on the just one. That has a specific reason: I am no longer Microsoft MVP and this will ultimately mean that I will radically change how I spent my time.
Apparently, the contribution year was not strong enough:

- 12 Videos on the Power Platform Learners channel with me as speaker (https://www.youtube.com/@PowerPlatformLearners)
- Co-Organizing and Speaking at Power Platform Learners Community, the Power Platform Advent Calendar and Global Power Platform Bootcamp Berlin
- Speaking at Power Summit, a German conference
- Publishing an XrmToolbox Tool (Teams Integration Enabler)
- And as I am a developer, these also mean maintaining half-dozen repositories with samples and ready-made tools. (https://github.com/Kunter-Bunt)
I doubt that Microsoft sees a lack of volume or cadence here, it has to be something else, like receiving the content as not valuable. Yet, I was unable to get feedback about the reasons. I liked what I was doing in the community, but without concrete reasons I do not see getting this recognition back.
And this sadly puts me into a bad situation, companies like my employer are always drawn apart over public sharing of knowledge and the lack of support from Microsoft hits my ambitions quite a bit. Now I even have trouble justifying the time I spend to prepare stuff to myself.
And with that insight, can I use my time better? I will certainly try! But this means cutting off what I was doing until now, so expect much less appearances in the future months. I will start finding a new mode, maybe that will not include public appearances at all, maybe I will explore the space of tool creation. Who knows.
